Moulin Roty’s amazing Le Jardin story book torch tells 3 stories about the natural world: the birds build their nest, the caterpillar turns into a butterfly and, a story about the four seasons. Included with the torch are three mini reference books – animals, birds, and insects with charming illustrations and the name of each animal in both French and English.

To use the torch, simply place the disc into the torch and turn the disc to scroll through all the images (there is a slot to take the disc just behind the lens – opened via a spring loaded sliding latch). The image can be enlarged or reduced by moving the torch back and forth and the focus can be controlled by turning the lens at the head of the torch.

The storybook torch set provides the images, however, it is up to the child to interpret these images and to create and narrate a story to suit. This helps nurture verbal communication skills in even the shyest child. It will also help boost creativity and stimulate the imagination. An added benefit of the storybook torch is that it will help with the development of fine motor skills when manipulating the story wheels and focus.

Care instructions Wipe over outside of torch with damp cloth if needed and dry thoroughly. Do not wet reels or immerse the torch in water.
