Good day to all our wonderful customers. I just wanted to jump on our blog real quick to share something I have been thinking about with regard to our lovely toys.
I wanted to tell Balthazar’s story, but the problem is that Balthazar has been discontinued. This is a shame! But as I am in Melbourne and Mum and the rest of the crew are in Pambula, it has always been hard for me to use our toys to tell stories, because I am not physically in the same place as them. (And I want to get creative with Play this year, so I am planning to be resourceful and use what I have got!)
I was thinking the fact that Moulin Roty usually discontinues collections after some time has passed to be a bit of a metaphor for that very sad fact of life that people pass on. . . From both their lives and our lives in other ways, unfortunately. :’-(
This is one of the reasons that I want to start using Balthazar to tell stories in our social media and on our blog etc. He has been discontinued, but he has always had a special place in my heart. And he is very handsome!!
So without further ado, let me introduce Balthazar the mouse. Today he is sitting in his bedroom with his little ones gathered around.
‘Tell us a story, Dad!’ Balthazar’s daughters squealed.
‘Once upon a time in a little coastal town’ began Balthazar, ‘there was a happy family of mice, who loved nothing more than to travel.’
This is also a reminder that Moulin Roty does discontinue each range after a while. The number of times we have had someone write to us desperate to get one last comforter is a little upsetting sometimes (mostly for our customers), and while we have usually been able to help them out, our advice to you if you are buying a soft toy or comforter for your precious loved one is GET A SPARE (or two ) !!
