What lovely weather we have been having in our neck of the woods! So much so, that Sylvain has decided that it is time to start planting out the vegetable garden – surely we won’t have a frost now!?? After digging in some lovely compost and covering the garden bed with hay, it was time to start planting.
Sylvain turned the lettuce seedlings out from the punnet and began to separate them, ready to plant.
He then carefully placed each seedling into the soil and lovingly tucked the hay around them.
Every plant was given a good drink of water.
Job well done, Sylvain!
The lettuce will be delicious – we can’t wait.
