With a deep navy‑blue velour body and padded wings, a luxuriously soft brown micro‑fur head and chest, and a watermelon‑pink dewlap beneath the throat, Calao makes a colourful and engaging companion. His long velour beak and wide embroidered eyes give him a friendly, expressive look and inquisitive charm.
Calao is full of gentle sensory surprises: a removable bead rattle tucked safely under caloa’s wing, a tiny fabric bird companion with its own rattle, a crinkly leaf for curious fingers, and a soft squeaker hidden in his thick navy tail. The white tail tip adds a beautiful contrast to his deep blue plumage.
