This beautiful flower press kit by Moulin Roty contains two natural-finish wooden boards. The top board is printed with a garden scene. It also contains seven sheets of cardboard and twelve sheets of thick paper – providing 6 pressing layers in total. The press is held together and can be tightened by four bolts and wing nuts.

The process of collecting and then pressing plants is a great way to encourage children to engage with the natural world. The pressing and preservation of leaves and flowers etc will also provide your child with a wonderful sense of accomplishment. A flower press might encourage them to undertake that special project – whether it be for hand made gift cards, a natural artwork or even a botanical journal.
