Christmas delivery cut-off dates
To give your parcel the best chance of arrival before Christmas please place your orders by the following dates:
NSW, ACT, VIC – December 19th
SA & QLD – December 18th
WA & TAS – December 16th
NT – December 15th
Delivery charges within Australia
We have a flat rate delivery charge of $9.95* or if your order is $150.00 or more, delivery is free*. * Conditions apply (see below).
Express Post is a flat rate of $17.95*. If you need Express Post and your order is over $150.00 please let us know in your order notes. * Conditions apply (see below).
* For larger items that weigh over 3 kg (actual and volumetric weight), freight charges may be higher. If this condition applies to an item, it will be indicated at the end of the product description on the shopping page. Should an item be subject to this condition, we will contact you to provide a freight quotation.
International delivery
We do not currently accept international orders on our website. If you would like to place an order for international delivery or if you are located overseas and would like to place an order for delivery within Australia to a third party, please contact us by email.
We are happy to send orders overseas, but we will need to give you a quote for postage, so please get in touch.
Delivery time
When you place an order with us, you will be sent an email receipt so that you know that your order is being processed. We will do our very best to dispatch your purchase by the next business day.
We generally use Australia Post and once your order has been sent, we will email you with a consignment or tracking number and the relevant website address for tracing your parcel.
Approximate delivery times are as indicated below:
For major cities in eastern states – allow 3-5 working days
For regional areas, western states & Tasmania – allow 5-7 working days
Urgent orders: If your order is urgent, please contact us prior to ordering or select the pay by phone option at the checkout so that we can take into account your delivery requirements.
Authority to Leave: If you would like your order to be left at your premises by Australia Post, please advise of a secure and weatherproof place (eg on front verandah) where your parcel can be left.
You can indicate the secure place where you give ‘authority to leave’ when completing your delivery details at the checkout.
Please note: If you give ‘Authority to Leave’, Little Snail will not be responsible for providing a replacement or refund should your parcel go missing or be stolen.
If it is not safe for a parcel to be left unattended or you do not want your parcel to be left, please tell us this in your comments at the checkout and we will advise Australia Post or the courier of your requirements. Please note that we cannot guarantee adherence to these instructions.
Little Snail will not be responsible for providing a replacement or refund for any order, should your parcel go missing or be stolen. Compensation of up to $100 may be available – please contact Australia Post for details.
Delivery to a third party
It is possible to send your purchase to a third party (for example, if you are buying a gift for someone). At the check-out, just enter the required delivery address details. We will send or email you the receipt separately. Please let us know if you would like the item(s) to be gift wrapped and if you would like us to include a message with the gift.
