The pack contains 11 black laser cut cardboard puppets each on a wooden holding stick and includes the Eiffel tower, an aeroplane, a moon, a sleepwalker, a burglar, a chimney sweep, a saxophone player, a count, a madam at a masquerade ball and two Parisian city scenes.
The night time shadow puppets simply require a blank wall and a lamp/torch to inspire children to make up their own stories and characters. They can be combined with other night-time shadow favourites – dinosaur shadows, castle shadows and heroes shadows to expand your repertoire and add to the fun.
Puppets can encourage even the most quiet or shy children to communicate and can also be useful in the development of social skills by allowing the child to explore and interact with different personalities in a natural way. Puppets can help boost creativity and stimulate the imagination as well as contribute to the development of motor & co-ordination skills as children manipulate the puppets to tell their stories.

The shadow puppet range from Moulin Roty are exquisite tools for creative expression and imaginative play for parents and children alike! We have several of the sets and our 3 yro son has fallen in love with watching the puppet shows which we sometimes put on instead of reading him a bedtime story. We are trying to work out a way to create a shadow puppet theatre so we can take it to his daycare and do a show for the kids! The characters and themes invite magic and adventure into the imagination of little ones and enthralled my own inner child too. A must have for every creative family!
